Hi my dearest friend,
I m very shocked by the disastrous earthquake which shook southern China .Please write back to verify that you and your family are ok and healthy.

Dear Makis,

So nice to receive your message. I am OK since my house is thousands of miles away from the center of earthquake. Everything is fine here.

It took place in Sichuan Province, southwest of China, where I have been there for traveling and taken those beautiful photos showing in my online album. It is a huge shock to us. Now rescue teams are trying to find survivals from the crushed buildings. Some are lucky to be found alive, and most lost their lives or are still missing. We are donating money, blood and our blessings for those who suffered and are still suffering from this tragedy. We are all praying for them. It is really a disaster to Chinese People, as the last huge earthquake happened in 1976.

From today, the whole country mourn for those dead for three days. Even the sky is covered with grief. It rains for my dear country people. May they rest in peace.

Several months later, there will be the Beijing Olympic Games. We wish everything will go smoothly. And we believe we can go through all the tough times. Trust me, we are holding together to overcome all the difficulities. Glory belongs to all the strong Chinese people.
